Privacy notice

Garage Reset is a garage decluttering, clearance, cleaning and organisation service operating across North London and Hertfordshire. This notice explains what we do with the information you give us. We keep it deliberately short and plain.

What we collect

• Your name, email address, mobile number and postcode, so we can prepare a quote and arrange a date.
• The details you tell us about the garage — its size, how full it is, and anything you add in the message box.
• Any photos of your garage you choose to upload.
• Basic information about your visit to this website, such as the pages you viewed.

Why we use it

• To prepare and send you a price for your garage.
• To arrange, carry out and follow up on the work.
• To answer questions you send us by email.
• To keep our own records of jobs quoted and completed.

We do not sell your details, we do not pass them to marketing companies, and we will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Your photos

Photos you upload are stored privately and are only seen by Jake and anyone working on your reset. They are used to quote and plan the job. We only ever publish before-and-after photos of a garage with the homeowner's written permission, and never with anything that identifies you or your address.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work are kept for six years, as required for tax and insurance purposes. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.

Who else sees it

Your information is stored on secure hosting provided by our website and database providers, who process it on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes. We share details with no one else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@garagereset.co.uk and we'll deal with it within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
