Terms of service

Last updated: August 2026

These are the terms on which Garage Reset carries out work. They're written plainly so there are no surprises on the day.

Quotes

We quote from the photos and details you send. The price we give you is fixed for the work described and is valid for 30 days. If the garage turns out to be substantially different from the photos — for example far fuller, or containing items we cannot legally remove — we'll tell you before starting and you can decide whether to go ahead.

What's included in the £499 Complete Garage Reset

  • A full day's work on a typical single garage.
  • Sorting through the contents with you, at your pace.
  • Removal and responsible disposal of agreed unwanted items.
  • Sweeping, vacuuming and wiping down the space once it's clear.
  • Reorganising everything you keep into practical, reachable zones.

What isn't included

  • Hazardous waste such as asbestos, gas cylinders, paint in bulk, chemicals, fuel or tyres. We'll identify these and advise on correct disposal.
  • Building, electrical, plumbing or structural work.
  • New shelving, cabinets or storage units, unless separately agreed and quoted.
  • Larger, double or exceptionally full garages, which are quoted individually.
  • Anything listed as an optional upgrade, which is always agreed and priced beforehand.

Nothing leaves without your approval

You have the final say on every item. Anything you're unsure about is set aside for you rather than removed. Once you've approved an item for removal and it has left the property, that decision is final.

Where removed items go

Usable items are offered to charity or reuse wherever possible. Everything else is taken to a licensed waste facility and recycled where it can be. We hold a waste carrier registration and can provide details on request.

Buying items from you

If we spot something with resale value we may offer to buy it, and any accepted offer is deducted from your bill. You are never required to sell anything, and declining has no effect on your price.

Booking, access and payment

  • We agree a date in advance and need access to the garage for the working day.
  • No preparation is needed from you and no lifting is expected of you at any point.
  • Payment is due on completion, by bank transfer or card.
  • If you need to move or cancel a booking, please give us 48 hours' notice where possible.

The Garage Back Guarantee

If, at the end of the day, you don't feel you've got your garage back, tell us before we leave. We'll put it right there and then, and if you're still not happy you don't pay for the reset.

Insurance and conduct

Garage Reset is fully insured and DBS checked. We treat your home and your belongings with care. In the unlikely event of accidental damage, tell us before we leave and we'll resolve it through our insurance.

Maintenance visits

Maintenance visits are entirely optional, priced individually from £100 and only discussed after your reset is complete. There is no contract and you can stop them at any time.
